The coast from Capo Pula to Capo
Spartivento gentle undulates and all this area is a vast tourist paradise, with beaches,
the pine-forest of Santa Margherita di Pula (that has some of the best hotels in Sardinia),
hilly areas covered by thick woods and the Is Molas golf-course that, thanks to the mild
weather, is open all year round and hosts international competitions even during the
winter.

Before rounding the above
mentioned Capo Spartivento, the extreme southern point of Sardinia, there is one of the most
beautiful and quiet beaches in Sardinia. The long dazzling white sandy beach of Chia in the
sand dunes of which, green junipers grow. Their shadow is a natural and pleasant shelter
from the sun in the summer. This sandy expanse is dominated by an Aragonese tower at the
base of which there is a small salt water lake where numerous kinds of birds and flamingos
can be seen.
